Universiti Tenaga Nasional ( UNITEN ) is a univeristi set up by Tenaga Nasional Berhad. They are taking up a challenge of educating the next generation of the nation's leaders and knowledge workers. Uniten provides engineering, computer, account and business courses. Moreover, there are 2 campuses own by Uniten. One of it is the Putrajaya Campus and Muadzam Campus. In an addition, Uniten also has an outstanding pool of international students. There are many facilities too in UNITEN such as library, laboratories, good food courts, gym , swimming pool and etc.

Programmes offered in UNITEN are highly quality and all the lectures are educated and experienced. Engineering programs in UNITEN is one of the best program in international level. Engineering degree programs offered are recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia and Institution of Engineers Malaysia and the accounting program is the recognition of the accounting professional bodies such as the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

The education level in UNITEN is very high as it has got a very high MQA standard. Moreover, the requirement expectation is also very high especially in the engineering sector. Moreover, UNITEN is one of the best universities that for engineering courses as they are accredited by universities in different countries such as America, England, Canada and many more. Their certificate is also worldly recognized. Finally, UNITEN has also a variety of educational fields for specialization.

College of Information Technology in Uniten providing various degree programs that recognized at international level.Conducive learning environment and a complete infrastructure attracts a lot of interest both local and foreign students to study here.Lecturer who taught here also have a high pass and qualified to guide students to achieve outstanding result.Course provided fulfill international standards and student who graduate here have high employment percentage after finishing studies here..Degree program here also attracts hundreds of new students each semester.

All of the programmes are specially design to meet the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The programmes offered in UNITEN are formulated to challenge student to develop multi-skilled professionals, who are able to handle all types of situations during their working life in the near future.

Now I would like to talk about BIT courses offered in UNITEN. The BIT courses are Information System & Graphic and Multimedia. The BIT courses in UNITEN are good in a way that it is well organized in their course subjects. The core subjects of BIT in Information System covers all the necessary subjects well and this is one good reason why this course is well recognize by other universities when students want to pursue their studies in other universities. Moreover, the lecturers who teaches the BIT courses are highly qualified as they have PhD with them. The best thing about the Information System course is that UNITEN have implemented a special subject name Malaysian Power and Electrical Landscape where no other universities have this subject yet. In an addition, this can be one of advantage for new students to enroll themselves in the BIT in Information System course in UNITEN. The Graphic and Multimedia course has also got good lecturers who have won several Graphic and Multimedia awards during competitions and programmes. All in all, I would say that the BIT courses offered in UNITEN are more than sufficient for students who wants to be successful in the IT field.

I would like to add on engineering programs offered in UNITEN is the best among all the local university. UNITEN have 5 different courses in engineering programs which are Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons), Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Hons), Bachelor of Electrical Power Engineering (Hons), Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) and Bachelor of Computer and Communication Engineering (Hons). UNITEN continues with the purpose of producing students with the values, knowledge, and skills necessary to impact computing and technology-related disciplines in tomorrow’s world. Each courses need to be completed in 4 years full lectures. Engineering programs in UNITEN also to develop student capability to seek creative and innovative solution to problems, both independently or in group. In addition, programs in UNITEN have the opportunity to tap vast experience and resources of Tenaga Nasional Berhad , one of the largest utility companies in the region. Lastly, engineering program offered in UNITEN is the most prestigious and same level with other international Universities. UNITEN's students have a bright and wide future compared with other local students.
